About Me

I'm Lanzo Cass, an abstract painter in oils. Staring in 2026, I am launching my work onto the commercial art market.
I am based between my studio, where I paint and frame, in South Wales, and outer London where I will also be marketing some of my work to the surrounding areas. All of my works are in oil, with some pieces built up with additional mediums to achieve a rich textural foundation beneath the final oil paint layers.
I am self-taught, and for over 8 years I have worked out of my quiet village studio, learning, creating and focusing on my technique.
I like to think that my pieces nod to early and mid-twentieth-century styles, where I have taken much of my inspiration from. Such painters (to name a few) as Malevich, Picasso, Severini, Miró, Delaunay, and Kandinsky have all been a part of my study and the evolution towards my own style.
With a fully equipped studio, I frame most of my works myself. Through my trade accounts, I am able to offer access to a variety of professional mouldings and components to ensure the perfect finish.
I am always keen to talk, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch
